Art Thou Creative? Try and you’ll be surprised!

Do you feel there is any secret to unleash your creativity? In my opinion, it is no secret and a well known fact, that opening up your creative side is perhaps the best gift you can give yourself.The art of listening to your self, not just with your ears but with your whole body and soul is something that is very important and essential.

Any ideas how to go about it? Well to begin with, you can ask some simple questions to your self, when, where and what. And be prepared for the answers you receive. Listen to the signals you get. When does your creativity flourish most? You may be a morning person, so it’s easy to introspect your abilities in the early hours of the day. While some of you may not be your best in the mornings and can work in the afternoons or nights better. I had this Bihari carpenter working for me. He always started his work late in the mornings and as the day progressed into the evening, he would work wonders. Many a times he worked till even 1.30 in the morning. I remember him telling me that he got better ideas in the night.That was the zone of his work aptitude.

This is a factor completely dependent on each individual, on whatever is comfortable. The next question would be which place you can create your best? At home, in a class, in a garden or a park, where ever it takes but the important thing here is, unwrapping your creative secrets. You may work better in silence or the need of soft music in the background.

Finally you come to the last question what do you enjoy creating the most? What is it that gives you satisfaction and pleasure? Note that these are simple but important questions and answers to these are not only straight forward and easy but they come from within you. Perceive and absorb them, utilize them in the best possible way thereby bringing your creativity to light. How you make use of these aspects to create new things and come out with better ideas is what helps you discover your creative potential.So hesitate not to swim in the deep end and discover your creativity.
